Dear Kappa Sisters,

Association Dues are payable before June 15, 2009. Please click on the Association Dues button. Your dues support is vital for our Alumnae Association to thrive and be the successful association that we are known for nationally in the Kansas City area. We support our national fraternity with a portion of our Dues and the remainder ensures that we have adequate funds to run our association.

At this time we have three dues levels:
· Kappa $40.00
· Key Kappa $50.00
· Golden Key Kappa $75.00

Your generosity to support the Key and Golden Key Kappa levels will help to offset some of the ever increasing expenses that the association is experiencing eliminating the need for other fundraising activities. All Dues paying members will receive the KRIER newsletter, Blue Book membership roster, and invitations to all Kappa events. If you chose to participate in the Key and Golden Key levels you will be highlighted in the Blue Book for your generous support.

Your officers have begun planning for the 2009-10 year. We have many exciting ideas in the works, all of which you can learn more about on this website, and in the Kappa Krier. If you have any questions about the site or how to gain access to the Krier page, please call Jeannie Moxley at (913) 558-0448. If you would like to have your Krier delivered via email, please let us know on your dues form. We plan to email important meeting reminders; your email address will be only used for Kappa internal communications.

Active Chapter Recruitment is upon us. Area chapters; KU, MU, and KSU, have August recruitment. Membership data forms are in the recent issue of the Key and can also be accessed at www.kappa.org. If you have any questions about recruitment you may contact:
· KU: Linda Zey - (913-381-8161), LKZEY@hotmail.com
· KSU: Christy Wilson -( 913-432-3295), andrawilson@kc.rr.com
· MU: Thea Gude - ( 816-523-2308)-MU, theagude@aol.com
· All other chapters: Andrea Klinger - (913-362-0175), AndreaKlinger@kc.rr.com

Your Holiday Homes Tour Chairmen are: Cindy Couch-Homes Coordinator, Melissa Berg Harmon-Marketing and Underwriting, and Lindsey Horner-Shop Coordinator. This is a wonderful group of women that you may be hearing from in the near future! Just as they said,” yes,” to coordinating the Homes Tour, please consider saying, “yes” to working with them on the tour. This tour sets our association apart locally as one of the most active alum associations in the Kansa City area! It can only happen when we all take part. Whether you can take on a larger role or a smaller part, each person’s contribution makes the tour successful each and every year.

I am very excited to represent our organization and look forward to the coming year and all of the wonderful things our association will be doing for our community. I would love to hear from you and hope to see many of you soon at alum association meetings and events. Thank you in advance for your support and involvement this year in our organization.

Loyally,
Kristen Schotte- President
